WBI in the Napa Valley

This week’s photo takes us back to March 1 at Alpha Omega in the Napa Valley.  Robin Baggett hosted a gathering to discuss the important role that Sonoma State plays in the wine industry while our President Mike Lee gave a heartwarming talk about the important role that education played in his life and the opportunity for Sonoma State to transform lives throughout the region.  

Robin is an alum of the CSU, spending his university days at Cal Poly.  While he fondly recalls his days in SLO, he underscored that the wine industry needs more of what we offer, namely, programs and research focused on the business of wine, the hardest part of the wine industry to master.
