WBI Visit to the Central Coast

We convened an intimate student, alumni and promotional gathering in Paso Robles, hosted by Kory and Catherine Burke, proprietors of Dresser Winery.  Kory is a recent graduate of our Global Wine MBA Program and an ardent spokesperson on the benefits of studying with us.  

He was joined by three current students, Ian Consoli, Marketing Director at Tablas Creek Vineyard, Giada Cosentino, Assistant General Manager, Pierce Ranch Vineyards and Fintan du Fresne, GM & Winemaker, Chamisal Vineyards and Malene Wines.

As we often do at our board meetings, we discussed the opportunities and challenges in the wine industry today, and how each is managing them.  Today’s photo captures the conversation at Dresser.  Seated nearest to me is Kory Burke, followed by Ian Consoli, Giada Cosentino and Fintan du Fresne to the far right. 

Our students and alumni are in the pipeline to become the next generation of wine industry leadership, both near to campus and in the Central Coast.
