Ready to Graduate

This week’s photo takes us back to the Capstone Presentations from our Global Executive Wine MBA students on Saturday, March 25, one day before graduation.  There were a number of real life initiatives and business concepts prepared and presented to the class and their instructor, Wine Industry Faculty Member Dennis Joyce.

Featured today is Brett Vankoski, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Latitude Beverage Company based in Boston, Massachusetts.  The company imports and distributes a growing portfolio of national wine and spirits brands, with an annual volume of over 600,000 cases.  Brett’s project analyzed the opportunity of expanding the portfolio into the growing $15+ category.  Based on the current state of the market and on his detailed analysis of the path to execution, I am certain that the premiumization initiative will be successful.
