Lessons From Leaders in the Napa Valley #2

This week’s photo again takes us back to January 11 and The Business of Wine with Three Napa Valley Icons.  The second stop of the day was at Silver Oak in Oakville, a visit put together by Board Member Nate Weis and his team.  

Standing and presenting to the newest cohort was current graduate student and viticulturist Allison Bettis.  She was joined by her colleagues Mollie Griffin and Laura Oskwarek for a discussion about managing production and aligning those efforts with the marketing team.  

All of you have lived through the supply chain snarls of the pandemic and we learned how incredibly acute those challenges were for wineries who are known for bottling in large format glass.  It was a fascinating conversation and illuminative of the business prowess of our students, our next generation of leaders.
