Leadership in the Vineyard
We hosted the Leadership Academy of the Sonoma County Winegrowers Foundation for an afternoon focused on education, from early-childhood through university. The men and women in the program work for growers and vineyard management companies throughout the county, working in many of the same companies as our alumni. A number of the participants have sons, daughters and other family members studying at Sonoma State.
During the session, we had the opportunity to share our brand and two key messages:
Our Executive Wine MBA program and the work we are doing to cultivate the next generation of the wine industry’s leaders, particularly on the production side, in vit and enology.
Scholarship opportunities are ample, not only for the study of wine business here but also production at the SRJC and Napa College.
