Hamel Faculty Chair Damien Wilson made a presentation on consumer behavior in the retail environment at the recent Academy of Wine Business Research Conference in Nova Scotia.  As he explained to the attendees, we sometimes try to give consumers complete information whereas many of those same customers move to decisions much more quickly than we realize, making excess information detrimental to a purchase decision.
