Honorary Doctorate Conferred upon WBI Board President

Today’s photo gives me the opportunity to introduce our newest Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters, Board President Ron Rubin.  This honor was conferred upon Ron by the Board of Trustees of the California State University and announced officially at the School of Business and Economics Commencement on Saturday.  

As the Provost stated, “in the world of higher education, there is no more prestigious award than the granting of an honorary doctorate.”  Among the many accolades that she cited, closest to home is his “outstanding leadership, advice and support of our Wine Business Institute.”
