WBI Convenes Global Wine Industry Leaders

Today’s photo takes us back to our discussion of the international policy landscape, which took place on Tuesday, November 8 in the Fetzer Global Classroom.  

From left to right at the head table, you have Simon Stannard, Director of Policy, The Wine and Spirit Trade Association, based in London, Ignacio Sánchez Recarte, Secretary General, CEEV - Comité Européen des Entreprises Vins, based in Brussels and lastly Bennett Caplan, Head of Secretariat, FIVS & Executive Director, FIVS-Abridge, based in Washington, D.C.

Looking on in the audience is José Luis Benitez, Director General, Federación Española del Vino.

The panelists provided a frank assessment of the greatest threats to the wine industry across the globe, a most illuminating discussion.
