WBI Scholarships Part 2

This week we continue the series showcasing our scholarship winners for the current 23-24 academic year. Today we feature James Betts, who will begin the Global Executive Wine MBA Program in October.  He is currently Senior National Account Manager, at Treasury Wine Estates.

James won the Donn P. Reisen Scholarship, created by friend of the Institute Marilyn Reisen, who is a longtime champion of our students and alumni.  You’ll remember that her husband Donn, long ago passed away, was a visible presence for Ridge Vineyards, with the trade and consumers.  Our sincere congratulations to James.

Scholarships for first generation students are abundant at Sonoma State.  Check out our Wine Industry Scholars Program and prepare to submit an application during the next opportunity in the fall:  Undergraduate Scholarships.
